Finance Executive

Full time or Part time

Finance Executive is in charge of supervising the financial operations of the company.You are typically a member of the senior management team and work closely with other executives to maintain the financial stability and health of the company. You should be familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. Your ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

About the role

Here are some common duties of a Finance Executive:

  1. Financial Reporting – creating and evaluating reports like cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets. You must be responsible for making sure that these reports are accurate, delivered on time, and adhere to accounting rules.
  1. Budgeting and Forecasting -developing and overseeing the budget, which includes estimating future income and expenses. Throughout the year, you must keep an eye on the budget and make appropriate adjustments.
  1. Financial Planning – creating the organization’s long-term financial goals, which includes recognizing potential risks and opportunities. To design plans that will assist the business in meeting its financial objectives, you must collaborate closely with other executives.
  1. Risk Management – Identifying and controlling financial risks, including operational, market, and credit risks. To reduce these risks and make sure the company complies with all pertinent laws, you must create guidelines and processes.
  1. Investment Management -managing the company’s investments, which includes assessing potential investments and providing suggestions to senior management. Make that the company’s investments align with its financial objectives and risk appetite.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar Role
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • Solid Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Experience using financial software which is ADP
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Strong Ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
