About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s number of customers.
  • Generate sales revenue and support the goals and objectives of brokerage, trucking, and container yard services.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to effectively communicate the value proposition of brokerage, trucking, and container yard services.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes and proposals to clients, following established pricing guidelines and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the sales process and provide feedback to the management team.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards for sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a sales role in the cargo or logistics industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Filipino languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop solutions for clients.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Preferably resides around Manila, Malabon, Valenzuela, and Caloocan.
